Your Prorack can be configured in 3 different ways. For this video we will be installing the standard ProRack configuration. Download our PDF instructions for the ProRack from our website to help follow along with this video. Layout all the components from your ProRack kit onto the floor in front of the wall you are installing it on. Bars A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, & N 3 Small J Hooks 3 Large J Hooks 13 Small Bolts & Nuts 8 Lock Pins & Nuts 6 Long Bolts 2 Connecting Bolts 1 Allen Key and 2 Grids You will also need a drill Ratchet, Wrench, Stud Sensor and level to complete the installation Step 1 Assemble D, D, G, H, in a rectangle and tighten bolts lightly as you will remove these to install parts in steps 3 and 4. All bolts should be installed inward with nuts being attached on the interior of the ProRack for easy access.
Step 2 Find your studs and pre drill using a 5/32’’ drill bit for one top hole and screw in. Level, predrill and install the other side. Continue installing four other bolts to studs. Use the interior H Bar holes for mounting if your studs are not located at exactly 48” apart. Step 3 Connect bar A to D in the interior of the D bar. Connect C and E together, then connect C and E to D, in the interior of the ProRack re using the nut and bolt attached to D & H. Connect the bottom of the C bar to the interior of the D bar re using the nut and bolt attached to to D & G.
Step 4 Connect bar B to D in the interior of the D bar. Connect C and E together, then connect C and E to D, in the interior of the ProRack re using the nut and bolt attached to D & H. Connect the bottom of the C bar to the interior of the D bar re using the nut and bolt attached to to D & G. Step 5 Connect rear crossmember by overlapping F horizontal bar on A and B attaching through first available hole closest to the wall. Connect front crossmember F bar with bars A & C/left side and B & C/right side. Face the F bar holes inward for the support bars. Step 6 Tighten all nuts and bolts Step 7 Install two grid supports bars N.
Install the grids. Make sure grids overlap all four support bars and install lock pins at both ends. You can now hang your J hooks and you’re done..
